Technology Law

Established in 2020, UCLA’s cutting-edge Institute for Technology, Law and Policy is a collaborative research hub between the School of Law and Samueli School of Engineering in which students and scholars explore the legal implications of established and emerging technologies and how that tech influences society, privacy, and public policy. Develop your legal expertise to contribute to the socially beneficial, equitable, and accountable implementation and regulation of current and future generations’ new technology. Curricular offerings span the intersection of tech law and policy with a focus on topics in AI, content moderation, IP, privacy regulation, quantum computing, and more.
