Law and Philosophy

Designed to explore of the philosophical foundations of law through collaboration with UCLA’s Department of Philosophy, the specialization affords a rich, interdisciplinary curriculum that probes the nature of law and legal systems, as well as the theoretical bedrocks of specific doctrinal areas, such as constitutional, criminal, and contract law. Explore classic and contemporary questions surrounding the nature of law, legal systems, and legal ethics to prepare for additional graduate studies or a possible career in academia, research, and teaching.
