UCLA’s Critical Race Studies Program is the nation’s preeminent training ground for a new generation of practitioners, scholars, and advocates who are committed to racial justice scholarship, advocacy, and legal practice. Anchored by renowned scholars whose research represents the cutting edge of critical race theory and who built the intellectual underpinnings of the field, our program has no parallel in American legal education. With foundational courses in civil rights and critical race theory, obtain the tools to think critically about racial subordination and structures of racial hierarchy to pursue work as attorneys of conscience.
